Homemade Berry Lemon Scones

If you have ever attempted to bake scones you know how hard it can be. I find it particularly hard to figure out the dough, it is always too crumby and dry. And I notice that once they are done baking, they aren't particularly soft and flaky, more dense and dry. So I decided to tackle the scones once again trying a new recipe.

Swedish Apple Pie

Posted by Lauren Peresada on Oct 2, 2014 6:54:24 PM

So I love desserts. And I love making them! One of my all-time favorite recipes is my mom's homemade apple pie. And when I say homemade, it is homemade. No store bought crust or canned apple filling. Favorite Recipes: Spaghetti Squash

Posted by Lauren Peresada on Jul 18, 2014 12:04:31 PM

When I was younger I didn't ahve any desire to cook, but I have started to get into it more and more especially since I love food and live on my own.

I have always loved carbs, carbs in any form! But with it being summer and the heavy feeling that pasta can provide no matter what the season, I have started experimenting a lot with spaghetti squash. With the proper cooking and additions, you won't even  know you aren't eating pasta. And, in my opinion, I think it tastes even better. You can find it in almost any grocery stores (it is similar in shape to a football and yellow).
